Community Supported Agriculture

This will be our 15th year of the CSA!

We can’t believe that we have been operating the CSA this long and we would love for you to join us!

We are now accepting memberships for the 2024 season!

We raise a wide variety of vegetables and some fruit to be distributed to members.  Typically we start deliveries the 3rd week of June and end the week before Thanksgiving. We have multiple pick up locations in Erie, PA and in Jamestown, NY. Or you can have us deliver your produce right to your home for an additional fee. If that doesn’t work, we can also deliver to your workplace if you have 6 or more employees join the CSA.

We offer three different memberships, the Standard, the Have It My Way, and Coffee.  The Standard membership will receive what the farm decides to fill the bag with each week.  The Have It My Way members get to pick what they will receive each week.  For the Coffee membership the farm has partnered with 19 Coffee out of Pittsburgh, PA.  You will get to pick what coffee you want once a month, every other week, or every week.

 FAQs

  • CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.

  • When joining our CSA you will get a better quality vegetable with a higher nutritional content because it is picked at its ripest. You can also have an opportunity to volunteer and or visit the farm.

  • There can be risks but they can vary every year. One risk could be that we lose a crop and you don’t get as much variety in your share. But we do our best for you to get the quality produce you paid for.

  • It depends on your family size and how much you love to eat vegetables. An 1/8 share can be good to 2 – 4 people. A 1/4 share is good for 4 – 6 people. A 1/2 share is for 6 – 8 people and a full share is for anything more than that. Now if you really like veggies and there are only 2 of you, you can always get a 1/4 share.

  • An 1/8 share will get 5 -7 items, a 1/4 share will get 7 – 10 items. The half share gets 7 – 10 items but double the amount of the 1/4 share and the full share gets 7 – 10 items double of the 1/2 share.

  • We have multiple pick up locations stretching from Fairview, PA to Jamestown, NY. We always have a pick up point here at the Farm.

  • Of course you can. There is an added fee that will need to be paid before deliveries start. Email us stating you want home delivery and we will let you know how much it costs. That fee covers the entire season.

  • We deliver every Thursday for the season. Except on Sundays, we deliver to the Findley Lake United Methodist Church.

  • It is around 22 weeks. We start about the 3rd week of June and end the first week in November.

  • Yes you can. On the membership form there are 2 different payment options. Just pick which one works best for you. If either of those still do not work for you, contact Ana and she will work with you.

  • Yes you can. There is an option on the membership form to work off the whole share. Once you choose this and send in the form Ana will email you a receipt with more information. If you are unable to work all the required hours you will be sent a bill for all unfinished hours.

  • We will bill you for your unworked hours.

  • Yes, we raise over 100 different vegetables with multiple varieties.

  • On each membership form there is a Do Not Like list. You can mark everything you don’t want or are allergic to and we won’t put in your share.

  • We are a low input farm, which means we only spray when it is necessary. We encourage you to do your research about organic farming; it may not be what you think it is.
